I am trying to minimize the flak around here, but you are wrong. Too much timing in a forced induction car simply means you detonate. Even if you back it down a degree from detonation, it may still be too much on long pulls. Dropping it down 2-4 degrees from there will drop the power made, but it ensures that when the engine is heat soaked, it wont teeter or fall into a detonating state. What I find interesting about your statement it you are making a conclusion (simply to demean my work) on something that you have never had any experience with. When you put turbos on a VG30DE (10.5:1 C.R.) and produce better results then I will kindly remove my hat and bow before you. Until that time comes, you simply have no legs to stand on.
